Our state-of-the-art equipment makes us one of the most technologically advanced offices in the area. We have intra-oral cameras, which allow us to view your teeth on a flat-screen monitor directly in front of you.  We have a paperless charting system, digitalized (Diagnodent) method of diagnosing decay,  and a digital X-ray system which emits 90% less radiation than standard X-rays . All of this technology allows us to be more accurate and efficient with your dental care.  We firmly believe this enables us to provide the best dentistry at an affordable cost to you.

Here at Verma Dental we also make a commitment to protect you.  We ensure cleanliness and proper sterility are a priority in our office.  We are committed to meet and exceed all guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control, American Dental Association, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  Our entire staff continually reviews and revises all infectious disease control procedures in order to provide you with the most effective and up-to-date protection.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

We feel it is important for you to know what to expect during and after your visits to Verma Cosmetic and Family Dentistry.  By now you may have spoken to Jamie or Shelly to answer any questions you might have to set up an appointment or if you need  help with directions to our office. When you visit our office, please allow yourself to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment, in order to relax. We do understand that the thought of any dental treatment can bring some degree of anxiety, but it does not have to unnecessarily. We will make every effort to manage your past experiences with ease.  If your experiences were positive, we will build on them and if they were difficult we can offer different options to alleviate them and  make dental experiences more positive. We can offer relaxing you or distracting you with personal head phones with a TV monitor to view the choice of your favorite programming or by sedating you with oral medication and laughing gas.

Please plan about a hour and a half for you first visit..  To start,  we would like to offer you a tour of the practice and would welcome any questions you may have to put you on familiar grounds.  We will then focus our time to gather dental information with the help of required digital x-rays and clinical photos of your teeth  We will also use the latest in dental diagnostics: Diagnodent laser, which helps to diagnose even the smallest of cavities.  We will then carefully and thoroughly perform an oral examination of soft tissue for any abnormality..  We also offer the latest Oral Cancer Screening test to be able to detect any soft tissue changes at its earliest stages which can go unnoticed with the naked eye.  Once all the data is collected and reviewed Dr. Verma will explain and show you all the findings and go over the recommended treatment in depth.  Dr. Verma enjoys answering any dental questions that you may have.  She even encourages patients to think of any questions or concerns that they may have prior to their visit, write them down and to bring the list at your appointments for discussion.

We at Verma Dental understand that first and foremost our obligation to you as a patient is your dental health.  We assure you that we offer most comprehensive treatment to you in order to keep you in good health and make sure you keep your smile for life.  Dr.  Verma will stress upon what is more urgent and requires attention now versus what treatment can wait.  She will offer her professional opinion and options but if you choose to modify the recommended treatment plan or have different priority, if at all possible, she will make every effort to accommodate your request.  As long as you are ready, and time permits, with your permission your treatment can be started on the same day or can be scheduled at a more convenient time.

After your initial appointment or the remainder of your recall appointment we would appreciate it if you can take a few minutes to comment on your experience and drop it into our "suggestion box". We will take your suggestions to the heart as our goal is to provide you with such a standard of care that you choose to remain our patient and friend for life.  If you enjoyed your appointment we would like you to share it with your family, friends, and co-workers and refer them to us for their dental needs.

Please feel free to download and print the forms below, and have them filled out for your initial appointment. This will reduce the amount of time spent in the waiting area.
